4) Computer assembling area
At the Computer Retail Outlet stores, walk in traffic will approach the customer service counter; customers will place their orders for computers, computer or game components, or other merchandise. Customers will be able to purchase fully assembled computer systems or purchase merchandise, including special order items the stores do not carry. Other items such as computer and electronic products assembled at APE locations will be available including printers and communications equipment. If the customers wish to purchase special order products, these items will be ordered for pick up by the customers) or installed into the customer’s computer system.
Game playing/instruction: high school students with a student ID can play games, with instruction on games available. GED graduates students, youth/adults, can obtain game playing/instruction passes from the testing centers where they took their GED tests. Individuals trying to enter either store must have a student ID from the school district in which the store is located. No one will be allowed to enter the game playing/instruction area without proper school ID. The Computer Retail Outlet and Game Playing/Instruction Stores are designed to help students with no computer available to them at home. Game playing is for a period of no longer than two-hours per day. If they lack knowledge on playing certain games, instructors with knowledge on games will be available to the students. Special passes may be given out to area school districts outside the stores) locations. This would determined by those school districts which feel some of their students have special skills necessary to play games or for the creation and development of games. (See below how playing games increase knowledge.) Game playing stations will be designed as customer service stations (Octagon) stations, to discourage interaction with other players.
Game Creation/Design: university students involved with Altered Planes Entertainment programs will watch for and select high school students with special talents playing games or interested in the creation and design of games. These students may be eligible to work with our professional game creators and designers to explore if this might be a promising field for them to pursue.
University of Computer and Game Technology-Research and Development is a sister corporation with Altered Planes Entertainment and Altered Planes Entertainment-Institute and University of Computer and Game Technology will work with Altered Planes Entertainment-Institute students and partner universities students on the next generation of computer and game technology and other important computer science programs.
University of Computer and Game Technology is a partner with Altered Planes Entertainment-Institute Assistance Programs to assist university students with programming and computer science needs.
Two school district making up part of the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan area, Kansas City Missouri School District and Kansas City Kansas School District, both school districts are in need of these assistance programming programs. (see http://www.alteredplanes.com/apeip.html)
First & Second-Years community college students in the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan area, these students will be allowed to become members in Altered Planes Entertainment’s internship/apprenticeship entrepreneur programs, which is part of Altered Planes Entertainment-Institute Assistance Programs, this program is to help students enrolled in community college and university in their programming needs and help. It is important that such a curricula be implemented in our Community College Partners for this reason: students which decided on planning a future in either Computer Science, or working on the next generation of computers game technology and/or computer game creation and design. To have the ability to be a member of Altered Planes Entertainment’s internship/apprenticeship entrepreneur programs will have such a curricula designed to carry through their entire college experience. Once these students gradate, the students will not only have a college degree in either or both degree programs, but will be able to fill out a job application and put down job experience as well.
The same campus of University of Computer & Game Technology, R/D, will house the future home of University of Computer & Game Technology-Private or Public Charter Schools, Altered Planes Entertainment, Altered Planes Entertainment-Institute and Altered Planes Entertainment's APE's Cafe Hardware Jungle Computer Outlet Store. University of Computer & Game Technology, R/D will offer Third & Fourth-year Bachelor Degree Program Fifth & Sixth-year Master Degree Program Seventh & Eighth-year Doctoral Program.
The parent company, Global Youth Development, Inc, and her sister corporations will open a wide door of different job levels and skills. Developing our own computer operating system, designing computer hardware, motherboards, controller cards, etc., including designing computer hardware around games, in the area of games, designing, developing, enhancing graphics, monitors for special effects, etc., this is why it is so important the curricula starts in the first year of college.
Students while in college will not only learn computers, computer science, create computer game hardware and design games, etc, but work for Altered Planes Entertainment APE's Cafe Hardware Jungle Computer Outlet Store building computers for corporate needs or personal computers to be sold on the open market; these proceeds will be used to help pay the tuition and salaries to the students. Students, once reaching a certain level will work for Altered Planes Entertainment; work on the next generation computer and games to be sold on the open market, work as support personal, customer service, or technical advisors to gain their needed internship/apprenticeship level of job skills.
